January 08, 2008 Board Meeting Agenda Item #16 Title APPROVAL OF THE VENICE HIGH SCHOOL FIELD TRIP TO COSTA RICA ON MARCH 28, 2008 THROUGH APRIL 5, 2008 Description The Costa Rica Global Classroom Project is directly aligned with State Performance Standards in Ecology, Zoology, Spanish, Art and Earth Science.  Students will be given an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned inside the classroom in a real world setting.  Students will see the wildlife and ecological principles they have been studying.  They will also have the opportunity to use their Spanish with native speakers.
